HIV (I) PCR REPORT - QUANTITATIVE

HIV-1 RNA detection was performed using NucliSENS Easy Q Real-time NASBA (US FDA Approved)platform. The test is performed using primers and fluorescent labeled probes specific for HIV-1 alod with appropriate controls for the assay. The lower detection limit of this test is 20 copies/ml. This test is highly specific for HIV-1 subtypes. The test has been validated at the Precision Diagnostics. The Laboratory report must be interpreted in correlation with the clinical profile of the patient. * IU=International Unit:1 IU = 1 RNA copy * Lineairty (Detection Limits) of the assay is 20 to 2000000 copies/ml
