Patient Preparation:  No special preparation is required

The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) test measures the level of AMH in the blood, which reflects a woman’s ovarian reserve or the number of eggs left in the ovaries. It is commonly used in fertility assessments, predicting menopause, and evaluating conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Preparation: No special preparation or fasting is required. The test can be done on any day of the menstrual cycle.

Procedure: A blood sample is drawn from a vein, usually in the arm.
