Procedure: A blood sample is drawn from a vein, usually in the arm.

Description:

The Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test measures the level of CEA, a protein that may be elevated in certain cancers and other conditions. It is primarily used to monitor cancer treatment, detect cancer recurrence, and sometimes as a part of cancer diagnosis.
