Description:
- CMV antibodies: When the body encounters CMV, it produces IgM antibodies first, followed by IgG antibodies. IgM levels rise shortly after exposure, then decline and usually fall below detectable levels after a few months. IgG levels rise during the active infection, then stabilize as the infection resolves.
