The LDL/HDL Ratio test measures the balance between low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the blood. This ratio is a significant indicator of cardiovascular risk, as it helps assess the balance between “bad” (LDL) and “good” (HDL) cholesterol levels.

Preparation: Fasting for 9-12 hours is often recommended,

Procedure: A blood sample is drawn from a vein, usually in the arm.
