The Urinary (Spot) Creatinine test measures the amount of creatinine in a single urine sample. Creatinine is a waste product produced by muscle metabolism and is usually excreted in the urine at a constant rate. This test is often used to assess kidney function, monitor creatinine clearance, and adjust other urine test results for concentration variations.
